Diana Morris is an independent woman. She doesn’t depend on anyone but herself. And, that’s the way she wants to live her life—independent and free. However, life sometimes doesn’t turn out the way a person plans it.

Diana is involved in an unfortunate accident and finds herself injured. While in the hospital, she realizes she won’t be discharged without someone coming to her house and helping nurse her back to health. She doesn’t have anyone she can ask for help. Even her mother is too busy to take care of her until she recovers.

Chelsie Carter is a home nurse charged with caring for Diana. At first, Chelsie finds that taking care of Diana isn’t going to be as easy as she expected. But she’s determined to stick it out.

She’s good at her job and although Diana knows she needs help, she isn’t sure she wants Chelsie doing everything. Diana still needs to do things on her own.

A budding relationship soon begins to form. Will Diana and Chelsie learn to accept each other for who they are? Or are independence and free living too much to overcome?
